The capybara is the world's largest rodent, and it has become famous all over the internet for being calm, friendly and relaxed. Native to South America, capybaras love to spend time near rivers and lakes, and they are excellent swimmers. They live in groups and get along with almost every animal they meet, which is why people call them nature's most chilled-out animal.

Our 20 free capybara coloring pages show them sitting, standing, waving, rolling over, sleeping and strolling. The simple, round shapes make these pages perfect for younger children, while the whiskers and fur details offer a nice challenge for older kids.

Coloring ideas: Real capybaras are warm brown and golden brown. Use two shades of brown for a natural fur effect, a darker tone for the nose, and add green grass, blue water and a few flowers around them for a peaceful scene.
